Contact support

Email [email protected] with your iPhone model, iOS version, DanceTake version, and a short description of what happened. Please do not attach a personal video unless we ask for it.

Camera or microphone is unavailable

  • Open iPhone Settings, find DanceTake, and allow Camera access.
  • Allow Microphone access if you want to keep room sound when no reference is selected.
  • After granting a permission for the first time, return to DanceTake. If the preview does not resume, close and reopen the app.

Automatic recording does not begin

Place the iPhone on a stable support. Make sure the head, shoulders, knees, and ankles are visible. Red means keep adjusting; yellow can begin after a longer steady hold; green begins after the shorter hold and countdown. A large movement during the countdown returns to framing.

Teaching media and AirPlay

If a Photos video is stored in iCloud, wait for it to download before selecting it again. AirPlay practice requires a compatible receiver on the same network. TV delay varies by receiver and Wi‑Fi conditions and does not change the local recording.

Takes and local storage

DanceTake keeps imported copies and takes inside the app so records remain usable if the original Photos item changes. Use the app’s record and storage controls to delete them. Saving to Photos creates a separate copy.
