Start with the full text, then recite it four times. Each pass leaves fewer characters on screen. FadeVerse follows from the part you are meant to say next and gives you a prompt only when you get stuck.

A simpler way to practise
A short poem takes only a few focused minutes. Longer classical texts are divided into manageable sections instead of asking you to tackle everything at once.
Read it through, then start reciting without tapping through each character.
Use pinyin, simplified or traditional characters, and Apple system narration when they help.
Add works to a learning plan and return when it is time to reinforce them.
How practice feels
Across four passes, fewer characters remain visible. Progress still starts at the part you are meant to recite next, so a later sentence cannot skip an earlier gap.
See the complete text, turn on pinyin if needed, or listen to Apple system narration.
Correctly recited text softens. If you pause for three seconds, the current character appears as a prompt.
Finish the practice, keep track of what needs work, and follow the next review in your learning plan.
